FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Can we purchase a shed from the lot? If so, what are the advantages?
Yes, the advantage is normally a savings of 2 – 3 weeks in
receiving delivery of the shed.
Do we custom design?
Unless a building is purchased off of the lot, they are all custom
built.
What is Dura – Temp?
Dura-Temp is a process that is done to the outerlayer of the Fir
T-1-11.
It is very friendly to the paint, therefore pro-longing the quality
of the paint on your siding. It is safe to say that you should not
have to paint the siding of your building
for at least 5 or 6 years!
Dura – Temp also is guareenteed for 25 years by the manufacturer.
What about the floor?
The floors in our buildings are 5/8” Exterior grade plywood
with the floor joists 16” on center. All garages come 12”
on center.
Are your buildings engineered to meet state and local codes?
YES.
Do we install electric?
NO.
How are your deliveries made?
We deliver most of our sheds with a pick-up truck and roll back
trailer, approximately
44 ft total.
Do we do any site preparation?
No, the area should be cleared and be as close to level as possible.
Also you should make sure that there are not tree branches lower
than 14’ in the path we must take to deliver your building.
How much clearance is needed for a shed?
If we can go through an opening straight, we need 2 feet wider than
the shed and up to 14’ in height for most buildings.
Do we come and check the property to see if the site can accommodate
s shed?
Normally no – as long as the above dimensions are observed.
If there is a concern we will check the site, within a reasonable
distance from our lot.
What kind of financing do we offer?
We finance, upon credit approval, with American General Finance
Company.
